If Reading Isn’t Your Thing…Here’s a Video¬†

We are all in this blogging or business game because we want to reach more people with the content we create. For me, I want to help other like-minded business people or creativepreneurs that wish to put in the work and make things happen for themselves.

The Purpose of the Social Media

I do what I do because I love helping others, and I love seeing growth. The more we give back, the more followers we gain that rely on our expertise and advice. Gaining more followers, in turn, increases the chance that our sites will get more traffic resulting in profit.

So, how can we attack the topic of growth so we can get more engaged followers? Well, one way is by utilizing social media.

Social media is free. Other than your time, you don’t have to invest a dime into it. I’ve gained new branding clients from Instagram. I’ve sold my fonts through Facebook posts. And, I meet amazing people on Twitter.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I do much better when I tackle a challenge by being held accountable. I can quickly build a habit from my actions when I’m consistently working the plan for some days.

And, wouldn’t it be awesome to form a habit of utilizing social media to its full potential, so we get more blog traffic? Yeah, I think that would rock.

Get More Blog Traffic Using a Social Media Challenge

Let’s tackle this thing called social media and let’s grow our blogs and businesses. I created this 30-day challenge, so you don’t have to put together a plan where you find yourself racking your brain wondering, “what am I going to share on Twitter?”

We want people engaging our social media and clicking through to our websites or blogs. When we get more blog traffic we’re increasing the chances or more email sign-ups and purchases. And I’m going to help you get that!

Sign Up for the Social Media Challenge

It’s super easy to participate in this easy challenge. You’ll simply sign up with your email address. Then, immediately, you’ll receive your first email from me with a prompt to start.

You don’t have to start immediately. The social media challenge is evergreen in that you can utilize it at any time. If you want to start on a Monday or the first of the month, that’s completely fine.

The Problem People Have with Social Media

The biggest problem I believe that people have with social media is a lack of planning. With so many platforms for social networks available to them, finding the right one to focus on is daunting enough. Then, if you don’t have a calendar for what you’re going to share that week; it’s easy to fall off and not post something.

Before you know it, you’ve found yourself saying, “Facebook doesn’t work for me.” Let’s get real, are you trying? When we are consistent with our actions, that is when we see growth and engagement.

I will be making sure you have a prompt a day, and you’ll receive the entire week’s worth of prompts at the beginning of the week so you can plan accordingly.

How Does It Work?

  • The weekly calendar that you’ll receive every seven days is set for Monday through Friday with weekends intended for you to humanize your social media more by sharing an event or something personal about yourself. The idea here is that you aren’t all business, and there is a person behind what you do.
  • By receiving the weekly calendar, you can prep for what you’re going to photograph, design, write, etc. and then have it ready to post to your social media accounts either manually or through your social media schedulers.
  • Then, each day I send you a prompt reminding you of that challenge action, so you don’t forget to stay accountable. I even provide some examples of things that would work with the prompt to help you along.

Look, I want to see you grow, and have an engaging audience. I want that for myself, too. Don’t we all?

You’re welcome to restart the challenge each month to help you. And, I encourage you to increase your daily posts to social media. Create your calendar plan once you’ve completed the social media challenge, and add multiple prompts a day.

I believe that in the end, you’ll start seeing more growth and engagement and more people will begin to discover you and what you have to offer.

It will take time if you’re starting off brand new, or with a small audience. But stick with it. Create a calendar, set reminders, and watch your blog traffic grow!

Have patience with social media. Be consistent and don't give up!Click To Tweet

    Hi, Holly,

Where do I sign up for the 30 day social media challenge? I did not see a sign up box for this, unless I passed it up. Thank you.

Michelle, it’s closed. My site/business is re-niched and old posts are being reworked (not deleted for SEO purposes).
