Blogging Is Important to Your Brand Because It Gives You Credibility
If you’re pushing something whether it’s a product or service that provides a solution to your audience, then blogging is an effective way to provide credibility consistently.Blogging provides credibility to your product or service.Click To Tweet
When you share stories, tutorials, case studies and testimonials via your online blog, you’re continuously advertising that what you are providing is something your audience needs. It’s a helpful review to your buyer.
The more information you can give away to your audience, then your credibility as an expert in what you are providing grows.
Ask yourself, would you rather buy something from an online business coach that consistently writes about the topics that matter to you? Or a store on Etsy that sells an ebook only? If the person I’m learning from for free promotes a new ebook I’m more likely to purchase from them because they have proven to me that they know what they are doing.
Blogging Is Important to Your Brand Because It Builds a Bigger Audience
When I first started blogging, I had a tiny amount of traffic coming to my blog. In fact, it was probably my friends and family that visited it.
But, as I started positioning myself as an expert in what I was writing about, and I provided information that proved helpful to people that were going through the things I had gone through already, I was gaining their trust.
My audience looked to me for solutions to their problems. And, they subscribed to my email list by downloading my free resources and tools. My audience shared my posts more frequently, and my audience grew.
I went from 1K page views to 46K pageviews a month in a short amount of time of just starting my blog. By blogging and including useful tools my audience needed I grew my audience.Blogging will help you grow a bigger, loyal audience that supports your product.Click To Tweet
As you blog for your brand, you too can see the growth. But you must do so consistently. Blog no less than once a week as you start and do that for a year. The more frequently you blog, the more you become recognizable.
Blogging is Important to Your Brand Because It Can Increase Your Revenue
It goes without saying that if you are gaining credibility as an expert and your audience is growing then your revenue will increase as well.
After you’ve spent time building that credibility and audience, it’s time to think about creating a product or service if you don’t already have one. You could write an ebook or develop an e-course. Or, you can provide coaching services to your audience.
Everything you do with your blog funnels into what you offer. Continue providing relevant content and solutions for your audience, and you will see why it’s important to blog for your brand!
